American Soldier

A. The most powerful image has to be the one where he is breaking down crying while sitting on a bench. He says he has one foot in the army and one back home and he just wants to fit in in either one of them.
B. Each of the images combined show us the story of his life in the military all the way to marriage.
C. The captions help me understand what the photos are really saying and the meaning of each of them.
D. Ian Fisher went from a scared trembling recruit to a veteran and married withing these years. He was worried and very nervous at the start of all this when he was recruited to go to the military training. The middle of all of these pictures was when he fighting internally within himself because he couldn't figure out where he fit in at home or in the military. By the end of the pictures he had realized himself as a vet and a family man and that is when he got married.
E. They use present tense and sometimes show us what is going to happen in the future
F:
1.They are on average 2-5 sentences each, so almost a paragraph
2. The first sentences provide us with information such as the setting and what is happening
3. The second sentences usually give us the detail of what is happening
4. The third sentence usually closes it up or introduces us into the next picture/caption
5. Some of the captions do because they want Ian to explain what he is feeling
6. There are some captions with 4 sentences but those usually describe a lot of what the picture has to do with anything at all and explains what he is feeling
G. it is possible only if the pictures you take show emotion and what they are really feeling, and it would help if the captions describe everything and not just the picture and help us see into the head of any subject that you can do this with.
H. I would rather do this than a story to show emotion and what is actually going on instead of just making the reader guess what is happening I can literally give them a picture to use as a guide for the reading.
