Composition 9/11

This guy wasn't alone in seeking comfort in a familiar symbol after the attacks.

Rule Of Thirds

This photo is depicting the rule of thirds because the man is off centered to the bottom left meanwhile the american flag is taking up most of the space left by the photo.
This picture taken by Associated Press photographer Richard drew was deemed too controversial by most newspaper editors. "The Falling Man" became the subject of a documentary, but the identity of the man plummeting to his death is still disputed. Some families refuse to believe it could be their relative for religious reasons, even though no 9/11 victim has been classified as dying by suicide.Simplicity
Image result for new york city closed to all traffic 9/11 picture“The falling man” Is part of simplicity because the picture is completely empty except for this man which the picture is also focused on.
Lines
This picture is apart of the lines category because the street is straight which is technically a line.

Balance
Image result for 9/11 photos of a tower in front of the twin towers
This picture is balanced because it is symmetrical which in turn is a way of balance and has shapes.

Framing
The search continued in vain. This picture has to do with framing because the broken buildings on the outside are setting a frame like area for the people in the very middle.
This was a day of mourning for all Americans, whether they knew a victim or not.

Avoiding Mergers
This picture is only focused on the women crying and there is no background other than her so it's more focused

Discussion
This final photo shows the president being told something while he is debating on what to do next. It gives a meaning to what happened on 911.
