SIN CITY
I have never heard or seen this movie and the reason i picked it was because after researching it i found out that it is a quartet type of movie which means that there are 4 sides of the movie which the characters carry out and perform. The movie is set in a city full of sin hence the name which has several characters such as a vigilante looking for his lover, a child killer, an ex prostitute with her boyfriend getting revenge on an ex, and a grizzled cop. They each have their own backstories which is very important to the main idea of each of their goals in the movie. The reason why it is in black and white to my understanding is because it's to show the world around them isn't important and when color appears is because it is sort of highlighting the core parts to the main storyline. The trailer introduced us to the characters and their motives in the movie. It also showed some action shots and mainly showed us who the characters really were. The city is full of crime and hatred for everyone who lives in it. Overall the movie seems very interesting to me and i might even go home and watch it and experience it for what it really is.

I personally have watched this film and it was very interesting to me because it all was in black and white and then the little girl was dressed in red to simulate the pain and all the feelings that the jews were facing during the holocaust. She is a confused little girl in a world filled with pain, anger, and sadness. The fact that this movie is in black and white is to show that the world around is filled with evil and hatred meanwhile the little girl’s clothing is full of red and color to show the fact that feelings are the only things that matter when everything else is against you. The trailer shows a scene in which the jews and the nazis are colliding against each other in the ghettos in which the jews live in. The nazis are transporting the jews in cargo trucks to concentration camps and they were killing some of the jews as well along the sides of the street. A man and his wife were on a hill watching the terror when the man noticed the little girl in the red walking all alone in this misery corrupt world. She then goes into a house and hides from ss officers. The man was watching her in disbelief as if the world around didn't matter and all that mattered was the little girl and the color placed on her jacket. This trailer shows that the man on the hill was noticing all the feelings and emotions that were connected into all that red that the jews were facing
